Beauty Shots - Dagobah

Hello there

The second part of the interview from last year shall now be on Tuesday (Cabin Fever Sat, Reboot Monday) as I spent some time tonight playing with my dollies.

I appreciate this appears to have become a regular feature but there can't be many more of them as I don't have many dioramas left.  Also, there appears to be a law of diminishing returns, as this one is another drop.

The problem, I am well aware, is that these dioramas are getting smaller and smaller in height.  So the pics are really difficult to frame when they've got figures in them, as they tower above.  I had a play about with it, and have done some nice shots I think, but then I may have gone a bit crackers and started doing daft things.

See if you can spot that.  You deffo will.

Let's begin with some location shots, so you can get a feel for what they are all playing about on.  I actually made all of this in the early days of Patreon, and - again - it's rather a green effort (in colour and experience level), but it's decent enough for where I was at. I couldn't get a proper pic of the false water on it, however I shall assure you it is excellent.  If you want a top tip on using realistic false water it is; DO NOT TOUCH IT TILL IT'S DRY.  I can't emphasise that enough.

(that lightsaber clip on Luke's belt fell off during the posing...one of the major issues with Hot Toys is whatever glue they use really loses it's grip over time...not like they're stupid expensive or anything...)

(that's a crappy old Hasbro R2-D2 that Phil Fletcher gave me, so it's actually too small and out of scale with everything else, but I wasn't going to trash a proper one...)

(please remind me I put the lightsaber and clip in that box for safe-keeping, when I inevitably panic at a later date)

(Yoda is Hot Toys...clearly)

(In the movie, Luke had his X-Wing flight suit on for this bit, but the Hot Toys figure of that keeps getting pushed back on its release date ...it's presently end of July but that'll probably change again)
