Multiple layers of cover stories starting with Jodie Foster and leading ultimately to a young man taking revenge for government "harassment" of his family's business (none of them leading you closer to the truth). With Bush presiding over a martyr's corpse, free of suspicion, with loads of sympathy and a free hand at the pinnacle of power. Poppy truly was a dark genius. Given how things turned out anyway, it's interesting to imagine if he was on the throne in the 80s rather than the power behind it.
