We all know of certain parapolitical podcasts that put out bi-weekly episodes, which entirely consist of them basically reading Wikipedia episodes out loud. Ghost Boy would never let the show fall to such a state!

I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't mind the delay. I work in a field where the product usually takes more time than the client feels they have, so I can imagine what you're up against. Thanks for putting out this blurb. ¶¶¶ Also, what you mentioned in this snippet about the Octopus being the first topic that's really defeated you a bit makes a lot of sense, and recontextualizes a frustration I've had with the series: compared to other eps / mini-series, this thing has felt more disjointed and meandering, and that'd been nagging at me a bit since it started. Like, "what's going on with Ghostboi? Shit feels off." To hear you say, then, that you've really met your match on this, and that you're sort of realizing that as you're going along, makes me realize that I've had no real justification for my criticism. Stands to reason that a story this liable to make someone crazy would reflect that craziness a bit in the account. My main point? Avoid burnout, go slow, we're all behind you. The Octopus is a great series. If you'd done something *really* bad you would've heard from us by now ;-)

good shit is worth waiting for, i'll toss 3.50 anyones way for something this entertaining and well researched. Quality > Quantity and all that . The Octopus series was unreal and I was shocked at the length so fair dues for putting the work in!

I prefer longer episodes, especially if you’re going to move away from series and do more standalones. It’s hard to give the full ghost treatment in less than an hour. Take your time and do it right.

I don’t think any of us mind the delay. As a person who doesn’t have the dedication to dig through all the relevant information just keep plugging and don’t worry about too much about pleasing listeners with a constant stream of content.

Don't worry and don't apologize. You obviously got sucked into the quicksand and that is because you try to research as much as possible and make as good a finished product as you can. Just keep up the good work!
