Cabin Fever 6 Jan 23

Hello there

See, no time at all and I'm back with another Cabin Fever podcast.

Obviously, amongst other things, in todays episode I finish off the straggler comments from the "Winter Run' of Cabin Fever, and give you a tiny look ahead to some stuff on the way.  Not a definitive one at all, we are all regathering at the same pace just now.

Really hope your first week of the year has been an easy one for you, and that you're hitting your stride at a pace that suits. I'm off to take my car into the garage this morning and have decided that if it's too pricey I'm going to give up my car.  I think I might be secretly hoping for it...

Sending you all the love

Comments

I shall be adding this comment to the Cabin Fever run next week, so we can all look forward to what I say there!

I shall add that question to my list for next weeks run and we can do it there to get me started

Finally all caught up on Cabin Fever, was always a few days behind after we went to visit family over Christmas. Loved this one, I often have the same worries about crossing the line between enthusiasm and bragging when discussing my collections with people. Always look forward to any unboxings or other videos of your collections that you do. I've had a light box on my to buy list for a while but haven't gotten around to it. I'm also in very much the same boat in terms of "if I'm not working, I'm wasting time", especially after I quit my job last year to try and work on content creation. With the exception of mobile games which I can play in 10 minute bursts as files transfer or render, the only game I played fully last year was the new Lego Star Wars, and even that I livestreamed. ASK IAN: With all your different projects that you have ongoing, do you feel like the finished products are all exactly as you want them, or do you have a split where some projects are just for you and you aren't too bothered by audience retention etc, and then some projects where you've made allowances away from your own personal preferences towards what would be more marketable (not sure if marketable is the correct term for the question, but hopefully you get what I mean).

I just finished Little Nightmares 2 and I'm now debating whether to go back and try to get all the trophies. So my Ask Ian (if I can post those here?) is: how do you feel about trophies and achievements in games? Do they add anything to your enjoyment?
