Hello there
What's this madness? A post that isn't audio!?
Yep - finally - we have a post that doesn't require ages of your attention, and one that I was referring to during the Cabin Fever run. If you didn't hear them, I did this over a few days, it's unfinished (although you can clearly see the bits that are going to be added), and the next phase of it has been traced. I hold my hands up on that. Didn't have a choice as it needs to be perfectly replicated and is a bit beyond my copying skills I think.
This is also the first time I've done an ink project on A3 - usually favouring A4 - so I've had a bigger canvas to detail on, and it's been a little more vast for me to get my head around.
Have a look anyway, you'll see what I'm trying to do.

And that brings us to the end of phase one, where we have the completed focal point of the pic...

You can see the other two bits, which - if you don't know - are illustrations from the original instructions that came with the Speeder Bike. You may also notice I rubbed out the borders of these because I noticed they were wonky as owt, so I'll make the effort when I complete this by using a slide ruler. It's in the garage at the moment though, and it's well cold.
I promise I'll show you it at some point when I've done it.
Tomorrow, I shall be AWOL as I wanted a grace day for both myself and yourself before ploughing back in with audio. I'm moving Friday to Saturday, so you'll still get all your posts. Those of you who heard the Cabin Fever run will also know I'm dreading the recording as it's got potential to be an absolute chip pan fire...
Hope you're doing brilliantly over there, see you Saturday for some awful noise.
Much love
