BOOKS OF WAR 5: Police and Thieves
Added 2025-02-21 12:54:32 +0000 UTC1898. Inspector Ermanno Sangiorgi is transferred to Palermo in the middle of a mafia war. Leopoldo Notarbartolo begins his own amateur investigation to bring his father’s killers to justice. Don Raffaele Palizzolo is eventually arrested, while Sangiorgi launches a series of raids designed to bring the entire mafia hierarchy down in an unprecedented “maxi-trial”. But the mafia soon mobilises a network of influential protectors, and Sangiorgi and Leopold find themselves facing defeat and humiliation.

I feel that the history built in Books of War, the ultra violent urges of the hidden forces of ‘Twenty Days of Turin’ and the emergence of a cryptocurrency surge in the global underworld rising on a tide of crypto backed Russo-Chinese oil exchanges is mutating the US Government via Papi Trump and Reichsleiter Musk. Thanks for cutting a throughline back to the roots of this corruption…
