The next run of episodes will be BOW again (or Bee Oh Dub if you prefer). We’ll be looking at the early confrontation between the mafia and socialism in 1890s Sicily. I think it’ll take about two, possibly three episodes to cover properly, and I’m hoping to make each a bit shorter than usual so they’re easier to digest (lots of names, lots of cool shit about the Sicilian fasci to get into). We have reds, God and mobsters. We have to establish the stakes of the fight because it’s going to become a huge war in the 20th century. We have badass commies saying cool shit like, “The bullets stink of mafia and incense”. We have others saying “Your boys only made smoke this time” after they survived a hit attempt. This is LIFE. This is HISTORY. And we want it all don’t we folks, we want to know every last detail. And so you shall, my friends. So you shall.

Keep your eyes peeled, first one will be dropping soon.

Oh and in answer to an unrelated question a listener asked, I made some of the music for the last episode with a VST called Folds, by Void and Vista. It’s become a go-to for incredibly evocative soundscapes, and it’ll probably be all over these upcoming Bee Oh Dub shows.
