A look at the future and what I need in order to be at 100%

What you see there. Is the future. These cards are going to be game-changers. Milking devs will have a very hard time convincing intelligent people that "Dis tooh hard man" with these around.

As for those of us who work 12-16 hours a day to deliver on content, we will have a mind-blowing increase in productivity.

And it will show the moment I announce that I got my hands on the first 3090 (hopefully on the 24th if I'm fast enough.) 

Here is a list of the things I will need in order to have zero bottlenecks from hardware to me.

3090 x2 for a starter, one is already insured when they release, and if I can buy it before they sell out.

SSD x2  1TB minimum and or 2TB M.2 PCI-E 4 to store all of my assets in and have almost zero wait time for scenes to load, and assets to be accessed by DAZ (this is 25% of my time consumed waiting on scenes and assets to load and let me work)

RAM 128GB minimum starting 2021. As my skill improves, so does the need for higher-quality lighting, skins, assets, and a bunch of other things that make a scene.

64GB is nearly maxing out with some of my current biggest scenes without compromising image quality (Not compressing assets)

1600W Power supply: With a 10-15 year warranty as they come from EVGA, this is a buy once and relax investment. 3090's require 350w and that's standard founders versions without any OC. And although I do not intend to overclock them at all, for my work, they will still not run on my 1000W current PSU without ruining it within a year or less.

A PSU needs at least 25-30% breathing room in order to last.

Last but not least, I need to move out of the depressing 20 by 10 room I currently live in.

Rent is cheap here, and that's why I've stayed for nearly 5 years now... However, it is a depressing basement of a-hole... At times the depression gets to the point where it is crippling, and prevents me from wanting to do even the most basic of things, let alone focus on work.

So, these are some of the priorities in life currently for me. And hopefully, with your help, I can get there. Helping me reach my goals is the best way to help me deliver even more impressive quality work as we move forward, as well as increase the speed and size of the updates.

Without that, there is nothing I can do. Come Monday, I'll have to go to work from Monday to  Wednesday. I'm splitting a shift with a friend who still works there, 3 days for me, 4 for him.

That will mean I'll have less time to work on the updates come the 14th.

Please try and understand that I am not complaining, I am fully aware of the state the world is in, I am thankful for your support, but I am also human. Like you, I have bills, debts that keep growing as I keep investing in new hardware, assets, licenses, etc.
