Update
February was another month that felt very short. A highlight for me was when I finally went to see the movie “Dune”, which I actually ended up seeing twice because I liked it so much. Definitely a new source of inspiration! I’m also excited to play some shows this month, with Toronto coming up next weekend and then a little trip to Europe.
With the current situation in the east, it feels wrong not to mention that I’m worried about the future of Ukraine and all of us. I hope they will come to an agreement soon, so not more people have to suffer from the consequences of these egoic actions. Anyway… politics…
1 Hour w/ INFEKT
The mixing stream this month will be on the 14th of March at 12pm EST (6pm CEST). This time I’ll be playing through a lot of the new music I’ve received over the last month—a lot of gems in there!
Exclusives
The exclusives this month are “Problems” and “Plus”. On “Problems”, I like the variety of sounds with the mini-switches every 4 bars that almost seem to tell a little story across each phrase. “Plus” comes from an experiment with the synthesizer Pigments 3 from Arturia, which I bought last month because of its additive synthesis capabilities. It has a classic flow applied to some fresh sound design.
