When and how Patreon process my pledge?
Patreon processes soon after you made a pledge, and they will process at the beginning of the month from next time.
Can I change my tier during the month?
Sure! You can anytime you want.
Patreon will immediately balance the charge difference if you change to the higher tier, and we will send over the rewards for higher tier within a few days. If you move to the lower tier during the month, Patreon will process with the charge of your new tier at the beginning of next month.
Is my pledge taxable?
Whether you will be charged sales tax for your pledge or not hugely depends on where you live. Patreon has charged paying VAT for Patrons in the EU from 2015 and for Patrons in the US and 17 other countries from July 2020.
All creators including us have no control over the sales tax (The tax that Patreon collects will be paid directly to local governments). So please find Patreon Help Center for further (and official) information.
Do you refund if I don't enjoy your content and reward?
We are unable to issue a refund because most of all our contents and rewards are digital. Please find our public posts on Patreon and Twitter before you subscribe to see if we are enough for you. We'll just do our best not to make anyone disappointed.
