Hi guys, let us kick off the series of BTS posts for the March photoset that we promised to show you with the making process of satin fabric stickers!
The hentai franchise 'MIZURYUKEILAND' that we took the theme for March is a brainchild of Japanese artist Mizuryu Kei. It's one of the most popular hentai series in Japan, but has been already introduced to the overseas markets by Irodori comics and FAKKU.
The main subject of 'MIZURYUKEILAND' franchise is basically the guests and staff in a sex theme park. There's no pressure but all guests are supposed to wear something adventurous that not allowed to wear in any public places other than the land once they get into, and put a sticker on their own body to display their own 'limit'. Says...
Mizuryu Kei made pin badges of the stickers for participants of the dedicated convention. But we decided to make the stickers by ourselves because that official merch was purchasable only at the IRL convention and there's no room to 'pin' on Itchika's almost naked costume even if we could luckily get the badges.
We aimed to make as realistic as possible once we determined to make from scratch, like real satin fabric stickers that we often wear when we go to concerts or conventions.
Only one design resource of the stickers we could find on the net was this. The shame was we couldn't find this official one until we search again to make this article😂 It would be much easier if we could find it, but anyway we worked with a quick picture taken by random peep, it was rather low-rez but enough for tracing...
The first step was to distort the image with Photoshop to make the design square as much as possible...

Then move to Illustrator to trace every each detail as much as possible, but we didn't fully duplicate the designs and even added some twists. Because Kuma had no confidence if she can crisply print the details on satin fabric with the mid-range printer she had aside with (eg. winkles on a lip for FREE KISS sticker), and we both really wanted to avoid any chance of copyright infringement. Mizuryu Kei himself might not be so strict, but the manufacturer of the badges should be unhappy if we fully trace their prodcut.

Once we finished the 'FREE SEX' design, the rest two were quite easy. It only took 30 min around to complete all three designs because these processes are the most familiar field for Kuma (Small trivia: Kuma is actually much more familiar with Illustrator, than Photoshop).

It's almost time for printing, but one more step remains!
There's no color profile for the satin fabric that we got because it's from a very small manufacturer. So we needed to test how the colors appear on the fabric before printing. Kuma made some color matrixes to determine the colors for three designs.

After we determine the colors, carefully placed the three designs so that we can get as many stickers as possible from the A4 size fabric sheet.

Here it is! See the texture. Don't you think it's so realistic?

Here's the process of how we made the stickers that all guests in Mizuryukei Land wear to show what they are up for.
Do you guess which sticker Itchika took? Is Itchika in Mizuryukei Land down for being touched by anyone?😌 Kissing with anyone?😳 Or maybe F**king with anyone?🤯
