Dino Run 2 Development Update - July 2023

It's been a while! A lot's been going on around here, so let me get right to it:
We've nailed down our direction for the remainder of the year, and a good portion of next year too. Let's categorize it into short, mid and long-term:
SHORT TERM (in the next couple months)
We have discovered recently that our physics sandbox is actually somewhat of a 'contraption creator'. Have a look in the attached video (above?)
Dominos and teeter totters are fun, but what's *really* fun are marble (boulder) runs and dino obstacle courses... all of which should be possible with a bit of creative thinking, and a few extra features from our end. We are currently in the process of making the creation process much more user-friendly, and then after that, we'll deliver a singleplayer creator app to all patrons, regardless of tier. Multiplayer still needs some work, so that will come later. And then...
MID TERM (Around the end of 2023)
We'll add a layer of gamification that increments a score when a certain event happens (get an egg in a cave, etc), while working on the core experience as well (running from a wall of doom). We'll start experimenting with visual customizations as well. Patrons will get all updates to the builds as we create them.
LONG TERM (2024 and beyond)
The core gameplay experience, creator mode and a solid amount of visual customizations should be ready. It will probably only be about 10% of the game's eventual content (maybe a single biome and a couple playable dinos), but we'll keep adding content from there.
This is all assuming a huge doom asteroid doesn't hit the Earth anytime soon, so ultimately... no promises.
But overall, things are looking good. Can't wait to get the playable build in everyone's hands!
