Hello all,
Somehow its been almost 3 months since we sent out that last Dino Run 2 sandbox update. A lot has been going on with the dinos, but a few other things happened since then (that positively affect Dino Run 2) that I wanted to let you all know about:
We helped launch this game (as publisher and soundtrack creator) into Early Access in 2019, and it finally launched version 1.0 last month! Check it out here:

I'm also happy to report that the launch from that game was successful enough for us to be able to hire one of our current Dino Run 2 devs fulltime! This is very good news.
We've also been working on this with a different team for quite a while, and it launched into Early Access just last week:

It's an arcade base defender with elements from many different genres, and some lovely audio-visual-engineering work by our new collaborator Datassette.
It's also our first internally developed and shipped game in 6 years! Yikes...

Okay onto the actual dino updates... Since we hired one of our devs fulltime, things have really started to ramp up. There are many new things to show, here is just a sampling:
New environment types. It will be quite a while until we can implement these, but they are quite fun to make anyway:
Expanded color palettes:
Hats! We finally have a good system for creating and implementing them:
Stats, Stamina Bar and Speed Boosting: no images to show for this yet, but we have a new system in place to handle upgrading the dino and keeping track of their current energy levels to perform various abilities (speed boost, tail whap, etc)
Eating Critters: Wouldn't be Dino Run without it:
Multiplayer: this is the biggest task yet, making multiplayer smooth for all players besides the host, and making sure all gameplay elements are shared between all dinos playing together. Considering we have a physics sandbox, this is a very non-trivial task, but we are getting close...
The next major update should showcase a lot of the new things mentioned above, and some things I didn't even get to.
Once again, thanks for all the support!
