[Please Read!] The change that happens on Complex150 as of July 2027

Hi everyone!

Thanks for always supporting us even in our very difficult period when we couldn't work on our cosplay activity so actively.

The first thing we want to say is that this is going to be the LONGEST of anything we've posted here. Here's the TL;DR for those want to know only their outline.

• Kuma's teacher photographer officially starts supporting us
• We will expire old photosets we made before October 2020
• Itchika renamed herself as PichaPu
• PichaPu has launched her Fantia

Introduction

As we repeatedly told you, a negative change that happened in Kuma's private the last summer made her not to be able to travel to Tokyo to have a shoot so freely (Kuma lives in a remote place from Tokyo). It totally messed up our content pipeline and has kept you waiting for not just receiving your reward photosets but even knowing what you would receive until the very end of each month.

We've tried to normalize our content-making schedule for almost a year. However, we ended up concluding we have to introduce bigger and many changes on Complex150 to resolve the struggle that we've got trapped in for a long time and to motivate ourselves.

Here, we describe the changes that we will introduce from this month to August.

Please don't worry, the changes are mainly applied to our team's structure and facade, and they won't cause any negative impact on the reward that you will receive in the future.

We will sometimes outsource shooting/editing to Kuma's teacher photographer

This is the biggest one among all changes we introduce this time.

Kuma has taken most of ALL photos and has edited them since we launched Complex150 because it's a very small female-driven team and being a cosplay photographer was Kuma's sincere wish after she retired from cosplaying herself.

However, sticking to the team concept and carrying shooting/editing tasks on only her hands for satisfying her personal wish under the current situation can't be justified anymore. So we decided to ask Kuma's teacher photographer to support our project when Kuma is unable to travel to Tokyo for the shoot (and when he is available).

We don't know if you guys remember, but actually, he already helped us such as with epoxy work. But we asked for his support only in the limited field because of the reasons we described above and we even wouldn't want a commercial photographer (yes, he is a paid gravure photographer) to bother with our project. However, in the current situation, there was no clue to defy our struggles except asking his support and he kindly agreed to help us.

We guess your biggest concern would be if there's any difference between the photos Kuma has taken/edited and the photos he will take/edit. But we are 100% sure you don't have to worry.

Did you see any difference between Succubus Tuski-san and Tifa that we made as a reward for May 2023? To tell the truth, they were done by different photographers. Kuma took Tsuki-san, and he took Tifa in the same studio as a trial.

Of course, Kuma's work is based on the skills and knowledge she learned from him, but as time went on and she made many photosets, her aesthetic became different from his. So we thought we would see an obvious difference between Tsuki-san made by Kuma and Tifa made by him, but the result was beyond our expectations! There was almost no difference between Kuma's work and the photos he submitted. He 'replicated' Kuma's work 99.99% of the time without any hint of his personal aesthetic!
* He said that this is where a 'professional' takes place!

Maybe we won't tell you every time about whether Kuma or he took and edited the photoset. But please try to find the 0.01% difference between Kuma's work and his teacher's work if you like.

Most past photosets we made before October 2020 will expire at the end of July.

This would be the second biggest change, and the only one that might not sound positive, but we decided to remove most of the photosets we made before October 2020 once July 2023 ends.

We thought we did the best we could when we released the photosets we did in our earliest stages. However, as we improved our modeling/shooting/editing skills, we weren't satisfied with the quality of the photosets we made in our early history and started to feel embarrassed to leave the old photosets that didn't meet our quality standard.

There was a huge internal debate in our heads before we came to this conclusion, to be honest. After all, they are still our precious memories and our history. But we decided to move forward. We have already removed the photosets created before October 2020 from our Gumraod store, and will remove them from the Past Photoset Bundle catalog for the Time Machine tier once July 2022 ends.

However, we would like to emphasize that this decision is not 100% negative. Because it gives us a chance to make popular and our favorite character/costume photosets again, with our current improved skills! Please let us know which characters and costumes you'd like us to make photosets with again. WE HEAR YOU!

Itchika renamed herself 'PichaPu(ぴちゃぷ)'

This change is the smallest in terms of content you will receive in return for your support, but perhaps the biggest in terms of our emotions. Itchika now calls herself 'PichaPu'.

There are two reasons for this change. One is the very practical reason that her former name 'Itchika' is too common for her activities and our work to show up in Google searches. The other is that she thought that the period in which we are introducing many changes to our activity is a good opportunity for her to refresh her mind with the brand-new cosplay name.

Please call Itchika PichaPu, Picha, Pichan, Pi-chan, PP, Pi, maybe just P... or whatever you want from now on!

PichaPu restarted her own activity on Fantia

As you know, what we've been doing under the name 'Complex150' is a joint project between PichaPu and Kuma, let's say PichaPu models for Kuma, and Kuma shoots and edits for PichaPu. And also, as you may know, PichaPu has tried several times to find a place where she could show other pieces that had less (or no) support from Kuma, such as OnlyFans and Fantia. And PichaPu has relaunched her Fantia on July 3, 2023!

What you see on her Fantia in front of its paywall for now is familiar to you. But once you join, you'll see many selfie pieces that you haven't seen anywhere. The biggest disadvantage is Fantia is the targeted place for Japanese speakers even though it supports 4 languages (JP, EN, CH(Simplified/Traditional)). But it offers a Tier that you can join with no payout, unlike Patreon.

Closing

Wow, actually this became the longest post we've ever made. But we're so happy we could finally and officially announce all changes that we will introduce to resolve our hectic and escape from our longest plateauing.

We are now discussing the characters for the reward for July and August, and even discussing the shooting schedule with the teacher.

Unfortunately, the delivery of the July reward will be at the end of the month again. But we can announce the theme for the July reward within a few days at least and try to normalize the schedule by August with support from the Teacher and YOU!
