I tried that with One Question and people kept taking it upon themselves to let me know about all the typos in my comics. This time I'm just making it ambiguous.

Meg Syv

Haha! That's funny! I didn't even realize you did that! Alternatively, you could do what MLP does, and just replace all the swear words with your own words that fit better in the world and essentially mean the same thing or something similar.

Shield Generator 7

Trying so hard to watch the language while the world is invaded by the twisted spirits of the damned. That's actually pretty adorable.

According to a Google search and a variety of sources, an olive is a fruit.

Meg Syv

well, that was a fun useless debate. :P I was of course not serious about it. I just like sounding scholarly every so often even though I'm making half the stuff up on the fly and just having fun with the attempt to make it sound legit. It's a game to me. Like, is the olive a fruit or a vegetable? debate!

Naziha Zahed

Yup! The most common ones are "demn," "foch," and "shil." I'm probably going to start changing them to more common words like "dirt," "poop," and "coffee" because I don't like the heavy implications I'm creating.

Meg Syv

Perhaps, but that's only a technicality, as this is the accepted spelling of the word where I am from. In context, it is still a swear, and is therefore censored. "Arse," in the context of its original spelling and use, is also still a swear word, but it's an uncommon word for me to use.

Meg Syv

I am thinking BS (Though 100 years ago you would be half right)

Karis Hathaway

Naziha is quite correct. Ass used in the vulgarity is a mispronunciation of arse, which is the correct word.

Nathan Weber

"ass" is not a swear word. it's the alternate name to a donkey, and I do believe it's even written in the bible (unless I'm mistaken) thus, it is a holy word!!! (or I'm just making up BS)

Naziha Zahed

Haha, that's interesting. Do you use the same substitutions over and over?
