Ch5 Pg1 - FINAL

And here it is, the final product!

If you click back and forth between this final page and the one previous, you'll notice some subtle differences - I've added the moonbeam and the obvious word balloons, but generally I've left it more or less untouched. Yoko uses a program called Clip Paint Studio that doesn't play nicely with Photoshop, so my ability to tweak these pages are somewhat limited anyway. I'll just chalk it all up to this being a dream, anyway.

This is a day late, I'm sorry! My job demands a lot of my time and energy, so I'm still adapting DotL's schedule around it. So far, I've realized that working ahead on things will be my saving grace.

Now that the Chapter is officially underway, I need to get caught up on all the rewards that I owe you guys: wallpapers, sketch comics, and art cards, ahoy! Keep an eye out for those!

Haha, well, you'll have to tear Clip Studio Paint from my cold, dead fingers before I give it up XD Clip Studio Paint works pretty well in conjunction with Photoshop, the only issue that comes into play is when I use blending modes for some of the lighting that don't exist in PS. I try to only use them when it's a life or death choice for a page, Clip Studio actually has some blending modes that are the same as PS's but there's one or two really fantastic ones that PS doesn't have that create really great glow-like effects for lighting from fire or magic. Otherwise, most natural lighting is done with Overlay and Color Dodge blending modes :3 -Yoko

Something tells me we're going to see a bunch of frames where Baby Thistle is either just out of frame, or otherwise strongly silhouetted against that convenient fire there to keep the mystery. Alternately, I could be very wrong and this is when we finally see her unhooded, in which case, I'll gladly shove my foot in my mouth. (No fair if Baby Thistle already wears covers at this point)

HO HO HO what a sharp eye you have!

Looks great! For Yoko, I highly recommend OpenCanvas 6 as an alternative art program that works well with photoshop.

Are those baby Thistle's coloring pictures on the floor?
