JANUARY UPDATES

Hey, Patrons!

You may have noticed my radio silence as of late - I've been spending (all/most) of my time working exclusively on the comic and a rather ambitious idea. The start date for my new job was pushed back another week, so I still have 7 more days to work ahead. There is no shortage of work to be done, because:

I'm going to try to make enough pages to update three times a week during the month of January (M/W/F) after we return from our Christmas break.

This is in addition to finalizing the new site design with Hiveworks, so there's plenty for me to do, and I'll try to get a little better about posting updates/previews of pages I'm working on. It's just a little difficult because I'm getting so far ahead that any previews I post are going to be rather... incredible, and I want to save the surprise for as long as possible.

Ideally, I'd like to do at least ONE Livestream for a Bestiary Entry before my official start date, but I'm trying to keep the workload manageable and my priority is to get as many pages done as possible, because I have no idea how demanding this new job is going to be (and safe estimates say it's going to be far less lenient than my last job was).

I've also finally given into the frustrations and exhaustion of managing a comment section, and have requested for it to be removed from the website. Hopefully it will disappear in the next day or two (or whenever the Hiveworks Tech is able to get to it), but since the Forum is up and underway, I don't feel too cut up about it. Of course, this doesn't affect us at all other than I will be more readily available to you guys here, and will hopefully be posting more things.

So, yeah, a lot of exciting things happening in the world of DotL! Book 1 is going to be DONE at the beginning of the year, then a print run of the book will be Kickstarted in collaboration with Hiveworks, AND THEN WE'RE OFFICIALLY MOVING ONTO THE SECOND ACT.

I cannot believe it. I thought it would take another 10 years for this story to make it this far, and there are so many people to thank for that, y'all included. Thank you so much for such a wonderful year. Thank you for helping me.
