Is the Core rechargable (from rest, power crystals, whatever) or is it a case of "You use up your core, that's IT" and you're no longer able to cast spells, EVER? Because if it's the latter, that kinda explains why mages are so willing to consort with draths, despite the very obvious risks involved.
