oh gosh, this is what I hated about being an artist and a perfectionist. If I only decided work was finished based on how happy I was with it, it would never be finished. It's gotta be rough work but we appreciate your dedication!

2018-12-11 11:52:19 +0000 UTCIt's a minor detail about a minor detail, but if you're looking to fix all the 'little things', may I suggest widening the toe box? The shoes we wear in the "west" aren't really shaped like feet. Feet are shaped like shoes. 95%+ of the western population (and peoples that wear western-style shoes) have their feet anatomically distorted by this, like a mini footbinding, narrowing the toes like seen in these shoes. (In a foot that never wore "modern shoes", the toes are the widest part of the foot, not the mediotarsal joints). This probably wouldn't work for someone with claws instead of toe nails, there would not be room for them in narrow human footwear (heck, even I can barely wear most shoes). She'd have to file them down to the size of human toe nails at bare minimum, but there still might not be room. Especially if cave elves have the sturdier toe joins they might need to use those claws.

The author of a very popular series did a gender bend rewrite of her first book to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of it’s publication. Most of the changes had to do with the difference between having most everyone be a different gender, but what she says was the MOST SATISFYING part of the whole thing was “correcting all those little errors, typos, and awkward sentences that have been bugging her this whole time!” She said being able to finally fix them was “glorious!”
