BIG CAT LIVES!!!
So as mentioned previously, I was trying some different things on this page. And those things are using some different materials: some super fancy Bristol Board and COPIC MARKERS? Yeah, those super fancy art supplies you've heard about?? Those.
So far, they've been pretty interesting - compared to Prismacolors they are so much more (for lack of a better word) liquid - they're far easier to blend and move about once they're down on the paper, even after several hours. It makes them more forgiving in certain ways, and faster to work with, but the tradeoff is that it's much harder to get the darker values and colors that the Prismacolors have. Maybe I just need to practice more - but moving forward I'll probably just use the Bristol Board for everything. Inking was SO much easier.
