Map Pack #21: Motel
Added 2021-04-23 12:31:00 +0000 UTCIt’s a classic American roadside motel with an apartment for the owner/operators.
I was inspired primarily by this image of the Crystal Pool Motel, in Crystal Beach Ontario, Canada.
The heyday of this kind of ‘Motor Hotel’ was the 50’s and 60’s (hence the ‘Vintage’ variation).
Then Superhighways led to a massive decline (hence the ‘Abandoned variation).
There’s also an ‘Empty’ motel for those who’d rather do their own interior decorating.
This map is 2940 × 2590 px, with a 70 px (5’) grid, 42 x 37 squares.
