September Update

I thought it might be a good idea to give all of you regular updates on what I am up to and tell you a bit of behind-the-scenes fluff. My current plan is to write a post a couple of days after each video upload, that tells you a bit about the creation process of said video and waffles a bit about what’s to come.
So let’s do this!
I’m freshly wed and it’s the first day that is a bit calmer for me. Organizing a wedding is surprisingly stressful - who knew! Here’s a picture of me and my partner in crime mutilating a cake. Our first official felony together!
May many follow.
I’ll take it a bit slower for the rest of the week and start on Monday working on the Majoras Mask video. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to produce the video in a four-week turnaround - but it might take a bit longer if the video ends up being bigger than planned. I already have tons of ideas on what to discuss in the video and I am super looking forward to working on it!
As for the last video - I’m super happy with how the Super Mario Maker vid turned out. It had a bit of a troubled production (organizing the wedding was just super stressful and I didn’t have that much time to produce the video) but in the end, it turned out fine - I think.
I tried to have the video similar in style to the very old SMM1 videos but a bit faster paced and I think it worked out well. It was fun to work with Mario Maker again for a change of pace. I’ll wait a bit on how the reception for the video turns out and how well it performs overall - if people liked it we’ll probably return to SMM2 at some point in the future to discuss the randomization function in detail.
Finally - a huge thanks again to all of you wonderful human beings! I honestly can’t express how much of a help the Patreon already is and we are only a month in. Thank you so much - you are awesome!
