Hello VR Enjoyers! I've just uploaded the VR 6K/4K version and funscript for my latest Juno animation to your Mega archives!
Not gonna lie, this one was challenging! Obviously my first attempt at a standing position scene, after that recent poll came out in favour of having standing position animations too, but boi are they more way complicated to get right for a VR conversion! The flat version was easy because I could just attach the camera to the POV character head and then dampen the movement to get some realistic camera shake actually generated by the character's movements, but VR? Can't have any camera shake at all in VR as far as I'm concerned (some VR creators leave camera shake in and I always find it nauseating), so working out how I could position the camera so that it was close enough to the POV character's body to not look weird in VR (the original camera position in the flat version looked way too far away from the chest in VR), but also ensure the POV character body doesn't interesect the camera at any point (which meant altering its upper body movevents in a way that also didn't look weird or completely change the animation), was tricky! Seated and lying down scenes with minimal POV character movement are much easier, so I'm glad the next Widowmaker and Shadowheart animations will be back to what I'm familiar with ahah 😅 Was good to try something new and learn from it though. Enjoy!
