Patreon fee changes
Added 2017-12-07 19:26:42 +0000 UTCDear Patrons,
As many of you may know by now, Patreon is set to implement a terrible decision regarding fee structures. I'm too angry and distracted to be very coherent about it right now, but this post by Ryan North sums it up pretty well.
If Patreon goes through with this change and any of you need to reduce or cancel your pledges, I completely understand. This isn't what any of us signed up for, and it screws over you, the patrons, most of all. There are other ways of supporting me, such as ko-fi or by donating directly through paypal. I'll also be exploring alternative platforms when I have the energy.
If you object to the changes they intend to implement, please, please make your voice heard.

Yeah, not pleased with this new change they are throwing on. And like Simone mentioned, and you, since its per pledge I already did the math and I will have to either lower some places I pledge at or drop them completely... which I don't want to do. And it will probably mean I won't be able to expand to the few others I wanted to.

2017-12-08 05:17:30 +0000 UTCIt's per pledge, which is the worst part. People who support multiple creators will get shafted if this goes through and have to pull support as a result. Hopefully collective outrage will do something. :( It's a really unfortunate decision, if they continue forward with it.
2017-12-08 00:16:19 +0000 UTCI really hope it's a per transaction fee rather than a per pledge fee. If it were per transaction then my end month pledges would go up "just" by 25$ instead of 84$
