Devlog 16.10.2024

It’s been quite a while since the last dev diary, as I was mostly focused on the development, a little bit scared to do promises as I wasn’t sure if I am gonna do them in the time span of the typical two week cycle. Now I am less stressed about it and now it is possible to work on features that take more than two weeks. 

Most of the focus so far was on the core features, some of them not too that much fleshed out like trading or crafting, but it’s the implementation that was prioritized. The game is mainly feature complete, beside major combat adjustments and progression systems. Thus we will be focusing more on the content. 

Our plan is to fully flesh out a portion of a game and then package it as act 1(possibly even publishing it on steam as a standalone demo). But the patreon versions of the game won’t stop and the 

Act 1 will primarily consist of the already present locations but fleshed out and fully finished. As well there will be added an overarching storyline(which won’t be that strict to follow) but which will allow it to proceed into the Act 2 which will focus on a new set of locations, new factions, new enemies and of course characters.

For now I am mainly working on weapons, new weapon skill system and enemies, as well as player battle power progression. The other guy is working on the factory and bunker to make them more flesh out and less empty.  

There is also support of inkle files for the dialogs in the works, which will make dialog creation significantly easier.

Also v0.13.3 will be released soon with some bugfixes and changes.
