Get to Know Crabby

Hey friends!

It's been a little while since I did one of these so I thought I'd update you with a few cool things that have happened recently.

1K Followers on Twitter!
It's really exciting to see all the support and the interest in what I've been sharing. Usually when I reach a follower milestone (100, 200, etc.) I do a pixel art thanking everyone. This time I want to make it a little more interesting, so I am holding a T-shirt Giveaway on Twitter! Anyone that retweets this tweet before 12am March 31st will be entered into a random draw to win a classic T-shirt of their choice from my shop. Of course I want to make sure you all have the opportunity to enter! Would this be something you would like to see as a Patreon reward as well? I am still trying to find ways to use the shop to reward you, so please share any suggestions!

Crabby's Souvenir Shop
Speaking of the shop, one of the artists that did fan art of Crabby suggested a section featuring works like his and any others that drew Crabby. Even though it feels strange to offer someone else's work on my shop to make a profit, it's a lovely and generous thought, and I'm always open to new ideas. So I asked around and most artists were happy to help! I really have met some great friends in this community. Of course, even though they didn't all ask for it, it is my intention to monitor the sales closely and ensure that compensation is given to the artist if reasonably transferable profits are made from their design. I just think it's amazing that there is fan art of Crabby at all. :) Which brings me to my next highlight...

Crabby had a really fun day hanging out with all his #duck and #crab friends for #pixel_dailies! Except that game of CLICKBATTLE 9000 which was quite frustrating. Looks like he and KwakWack need a refresher on how to click! Remember that one Pixel Dailies tutorial? 

Pixel Dailies
As you know, I've been participating in Pixel Dailies on Twitter for a little while, and I've been expanding on Crabby's adventures using the themes as prompts. Well it seems people really like Crabby because he was featured in a lot of entries last week when the theme was #ducks vs #crabs! Of course, my pixel friend KwakWack was also featured and it was quite an entertaining rivalry. I've collected these works along with any other Crabby tributes in a Twitter Moment here.

Welcome to the Cabana Club!
There are even a few more Cabana Club Members that recently joined, and we are getting close to my next goal! Thank you so much for being here and for all your support and friendship. It really means the world to me and I look forward to getting to know you all better! You really do make a difference, and you remind me there is always greater things ahead, even when life gets difficult in the outside world. I owe you all a great big crabby HUG! Y^o^Y

There are also a few more noteworthy things coming up, such as my Villain Survival Guide coder, Scott, making his online debut soon via Twitter and Twitch! I've been making some graphics for him and he will likely be sharing his perspective on the game's development from time to time. I'll keep you all posted!

I'm also looking into some handmade merchandise I can offer on here as a reward. As time goes on I am getting a feel for what is manageable to offer as rewards so thank you so much for bearing with me. <3

As always, please send in your suggestions for what you would most like to see offered here and even let me know if there are rewards you don't care as much about as that will help me know what can be replaced with more popular options. Pixel tutorials is absolutely on my radar and for now that is a goal reward for one of my upcoming goals. I really appreciate your feedback. Hopefully soon I'll be able to maintain a balance between this and all my projects that benefits everyone!
