Okay so i actually love cryptids, urban legends, and supernatural stuff. And i used to be on the rougher side of the internet when it was still the wild west in fanfic/fandom and shit omg. This one story that an anon wrote that has never ever left my brain - it compels me...I want try a different writing format adapting anon's creepy pasta/fanfic. The subject: Black Eyed Kids. What are BEK?

"Black-eyed children, or black-eyed kids, in American legend, are paranormal creatures that resemble children and teenagers, with pale skin and black eyes, who are reportedly seen hitchhiking or begging, or are encountered on doorsteps of residential homes."

I've been thinking about red_hooded_boy for years....and i just want more people to know the story. i remember being so wrapped up in these posts on a paranormal themed message board.

theres some stuff in the source material that is also pretty dated and you can tell its from the early 2000s. should i lean into the period or should i try to update it? If folks here are interested enough, i might publish the whole series and then eventually put it out on youtube. im trying things tho, so you get to see it first team!
