Sneak Peek - New Tasker Features!

Check out this unreleased version of Tasker with 2 new exciting (at least for me 😜) features exclusively in early access for you!

Download here!

Parse/Format DateTime

For the longest time people have been using the clunky Run Shell action to handle their time conversions/formattings (or maybe AutoTools which is a bit more robust). The time has come to leave all of that behind with the ultimate way to handle Date and Time conversions!

You can parse multiple dates and format them to any number of formats in a single action! Check out how you can easily get the local sunset and sunrise times in the example video above!

Arrays Merge

Sometimes you have multiple related arrays in Tasker that you want to use in a list somehow. For example, you could have an array with a band name and another with the year the band was formed. Now you can easily merge these into a single array to be displayed somewhere very easily!

Check out the video example: https://youtu.be/wV3DLmTZums

Enjoy the early access and have a great weekend! 😁

Cool! :) Glad you like it!

João Dias

Yes, that is also very possible! :) Maybe I should do that next!

João Dias

You're very welcome! :) Glad you like it!

I like the parse/format option! Got it going on my timer tasks, very handy indeed! Thanks for this 👍

Gavin Johnston

Parse\format dates time is my favourite feature from one of these updates. Is time addition and subtraction a possible future action?

Bert Beck

Holy cow Batman.... that's some pretty useful features. Now I can see I'm going to have to go back through all my tasks so that I can change them all! Thanks for all the stuff you keep bringing us!

Robert Burton

If I wanted to learn I'd got school 😁😁😁 I'm to old to do all that learning you speak of so highly!

Mat

Well, at least you learned something before doing it the easy way! 😅

João Dias

You always do this. Spent my day playing with time conversion from Unix to seconds from 0 😁😁😁
