A preview of what's to come!
Added 2021-12-21 17:02:04 +0000 UTCHi dear Patrons. 😊 It's that time of the year again where I'm going to go away for a few weeks (plan to come back around January 11th).
Before I go though, I wanted to leave you with this special version of Tasker.
This version doesn't work with the App Factory yet, so if you need that please stay away.
Also, this version was built in a different way (a new build process), so I'm still not sure if it works normally for all use cases. I use it on my Pixel 5 and it runs fine though :)
The main thing about this new version is that (because of the new build process) I'm now able to use Jetpack Compose which is a great way to build UI! That is what I used to build the example screens shown in the video :)
The examples in the video are obviously very basic visually, but the great thing about Jetpack Compose is that you can very easily modify UI. Hopefully I can do something decent with it 😅
Have an always updating list of the running tasks should be a great way to monitor what Tasker is doing in the background!
Anyway, hope you enjoy this little treat and see you next year!
