Sneak Peek - Major Requested Feature Is Coming to Tasker!

Shizuku integration is here, and you are the first ones to try it! :)
You can download the version with Shizuku support:
For now what you can do is:
Use the Run Shell action with Shizuku, so you can run any command with elevated privileges
Use the Wifi, Bluetooth and Kill App actions without Tasker Settings, Root or ADB Wifi
Use the Wifi Tether action on Android 16 again (it was broken with the upgrade to 16)
For those who don't know, Shizuku is a way to run stuff that you normally can't on unrooted devices. It's an open source app available here.

Note: for some reason the APK became HUGE after adding Shizuku support. I'll see if I can somehow make it smaller in the future 😅

2025-10-19 14:53:27 +0000 UTCI would love to keep using shizuku the issue is that on almost every device it requires that developer options need to be enabled first BEFORE you can enable ADB. It's the chicken and the egg thing. Now.... I want to do that on some devices I own but not all of them. For instance devices I just purchased recently. Is there a way to enable ADB without having to enable dev options?

2025-08-04 10:25:22 +0000 UTCHi! The new Shizuku integration is just in time, since I bought a new phone and trying to live without root first time in my life. Still I would make use of the Tasker Settings also, but the last apk, you've sent me isn't installing on this new phone. It's Samsung S25 Ultra, Android 15 and it seems totally discontinued the support of arm7 apps if that's the case. Any way, is there a chance to get any new version of Tasker Settings to run on this phone? Thanks in advance and, as always, thanks for your titanic work!
