0:20 its actually an "i" not L, also Japanese pronunciation is quite easy to learn, the vowel pronunciation (a e i o u) never change unlike English. i is pronounced like i in illness

2025-10-06 22:21:54 +0000 UTCA bit of context: The producer of this song, MafuMafu, has been struggling with heart disease for some time now. He and Ado became friends after he was on the night radio show Ado hosted. That was a few years after this song tho. MafuMafu is also an Utaite and someone Ado looked up to as a kid. By far the most successful one before Ado. You should check out his cover of "Life Hates Us Now" sometime :) The musical complexity in Japan comes from the lack of a "British Invasion", Jazz influence and now the producer-centric Vocaloid scene. That and the electric bass guitar being the unofficial national instrument.
