Added 2019-03-09 16:18:19 +0000 UTCI went back and tried my Arches watercolor paper, which is fastly different from the Canson Montval I usually use in the way that water/paint reacts to the paper. So this was kind of an exersice which I ended up really enjoying!
There's a few bits I'm less than pleased about but overall I'm very happy with the final image. I'm in love with the way this paper can create incredibly smooth gradients, which my other paper just doesn't really do. Arches paper does however make it a little harder at times, but that's mostly because I'm just not used to it yet.
I'm excited to try this again soon! (Maybe I'll turn this into a print?)
