But curiosity and the want for knowledge had gotten the better of her. So she'd snuck into the restricted section of the library when she knew Lewis wasn't around and made off with one of the many books. This one in particular would provide for an interesting evening indeed.

OK SO, first of, rendering these tentacles took like 8-9 hours and I am DEAD. It was so satisfying to paint though, it was a very slow build up of an obscene amount of layers!!
So yea, like the little story bit says, Max is a little naive but not too an insane level. She's one of the followers of the Cult of Cain, same as Lewis and quite a few others at the University. She's tasked with initiating Rick into the cult, who of course has no idea still! As Rick continues to read the mysterious book he found his mind begins to warp and he becomes much easier to corrupt.
That's all I'll say for now, I'm pretty exhausted! I hope you like it though, it's been a long long time since I drew any tentacles!! I tried to make them extra icky, I might do some more if you like it!! Lemme know <3
