First painting for this year's Mermay!! I like mermaids bcs they make me try and come up with new interesting poses that still make sense, given the tail that's kinda in the way and all.
I have a couple other things in mind which I'll be sketching soon. For now I hope you like this one!! I'm not fooling any kind of prompt list, SO if you have anything specific in mind for this month and the Mermay theme, feel free to let me know!

2020-05-02 16:44:41 +0000 UTCThis looks SO GOOD, like Ellie said the angle is fantastic and the lighting is really nice, plus the detailing on his body hair is 👌 As far as ideas go I wonder if a "mermaid caught in fisherman's netting" style pin-up (or more) is a fun thought or if that's just me... 👀🧜♀️
