First painting of the dystopian AU I'm working on with my bf, with hopefully some more to come!!! I chose the absolute worst scenario to depict though lol, they're literally in a kinda older era opera house. In their world though such things, kinda like now, are considered only accessible to people with wealth and power.
In this AU Lewis (who is Lodovicus in the Roman AU) is the government poster boy. Get's paid by the state to say whatever they want him to say and send that message to the people. While Max is pretty much a nobody, living a meager excistence, working in a produce factory and living in what is basically a concrete box.
Ricks background will be revealed soon, I'm hoping to draw him next and expand on the story a little for u guys. (as well as show off the world) :3

Your backgrounds continue to be so stunning and detailed. I love them. (I also adore the tiny opera lady but that's beside the point) I know it must have taken hours and it comes together SO well. AGAIN with the amazing facial expressions and god. Max looks SO happy. She's just gorgeous and in ecstasy. So excited to hear more of this AU
