Been dying to draw Jones in pretty robes and dresses, I’ll be doing a little more of that soon, I have an ungodly amount of sketches and wips 👁
Im still taking art a little slower, I’ve been having some pains in my hand and I don’t wanna push it!
Regardless I’m still having a great time drawing for this au and exploring new aspects of these characters and their relationships. Horatio for one, supresses a lot of his feelings, is a bit emotionally constipated, and finds Jones a good outlet to receive some of what he’s kept hidden.
(And often shows too much, pushes all this anger and anxiety onto his partner)
He isn’t very good at knowing boundaries, doesn’t know when an expense is too much, or when hes being selfish and/or demanding but thinks Jones is simply (in his eyes) being a petulant brat. It happens, they stay together for a very long time and yet, pretty toxic behavior. It’s hard to see these mannerisms when you’re so convinced of your love for one another, which is very much the case for them.
Horatio latched onto Jones because he was the first like minded man he’s ever met (a big ol gay)
