I hope you like it, I made two versions because I couldn’t decide! (Plus a version without the light and shadow layer) Since this month is Mermay I think I’ll do some mermaid things, maybe also in a Greco-Roman setting? Not sure yet honestly, I’ll just have to see what happens when inspiration strikes 😅
All I know is that I’d love to do some more water backgrounds 🌊

I keep coming back to this piece - it's very compelling. There is a contrast between the *intensity* of the way they are looking at one another, and the almost delicacy of the way they're touching one another that is breathtaking. One of my favourites so far. :) Thank you so much for sharing it!

What brought them to such odds after having such a strong bond, was it all because of the feeling of shame that followed? I'm so invested in these two. I thought I couldn't love it more when it was Max and Horatius, but you've proven me wrong... so wrong! Horatius is a wonderful character and I can't wait to see more of him in the future! Pray say, will there be a moment between Horatius and Vic also? 0:-)
