I’m a little obsessed with Satyr Horatius and will definitely be doing some more.. Partner and I have been talking on what Rick would be, and we’re thinking something like a buck with big ol’ antlers, some kinda forest king. 🦌😎
Hope you like it!! I have no idea what the time period is supposed to be (not that it rly matters I guess) but probably something pagan-y. I’ll try and think up some more!!

This piece has to be my favourite. It is because of the beautiful conveyance of desire on screen to us an audience. I hardly see male desire like this. With poignance and feeling, with an emotional versatility and depth usually reserved for some other encounters. His eyes close as he takes the pretty Satyr; the way he relishes and enjoys and is intimate in the moment. I think this has to be one of my most favourite artwork for all time. It is wonderful I can have such feelings of love communicated to me with one piece. And as usual, the way you draw flesh and fat, ripples and suppleness of skin in layers, makes me see the body in entire. Nothing unnatural or uncensored, just the body's height in its glory of love and being loved. What a beautiful image for all of us to love and enjoy and admire and hold dear <3
