Added 2022-06-13 16:08:55 +0000 UTCWas thinking about this for a while, and i kinda wanna show my lineart again! Im not used to not posting as much as i did, idk, a few months ago? So to make up for the lack I wanted to show more process if you guys like that!
This one actually was a super old sketch I left behind back in November. But lately Ive been going over more of these older sketches (I have.. so many) And picked this one of Jones & Hor to finish. I didnt feel like doing another white wall bg, instead i wanted something colorful.
Im honestly thinking I might do more with stained windows because I've seen some amazing ones on pinterest and I'm feeling super inspired!!
Hope you like the little wip, I'll put on the first wash of color tonight!

Gorgeous! Love the Mucha vibe of the pose and shape of the window. The bird and leaves are wonderful designs too. Can imagine tons of different gorgeous different colour options backlighting the lads for this piece, vibrant oranges for sunlight, blues for moonlight, pale greens for a greenhousey feel, or even red if you wanted it to feel like one of your dramatic religious/satanic/vampiric pieces. Cant wait to see what you come up with!

And I've been to Brussels last week and there are so many random Art Nouveau houses with stained windows tucked in between the most ugly buildings, it's amazing and really inspiring. I'm already curious what the color scheme will be for this one.
