I dress for you, laugh prettily for you, I scent myself with roses- all for you. Because I want to be perfect, the way you are perfect. You mingle with your cologne, something noticeable but pleasant, warm hands holding me just so. Together we shape ourselves into an amalgamation of loveliness.

The first reaction I got when I showed this to a friend and Bf was ‘Its so soft!!’ And I have to admit, it got away from me a little bit in the editing process. I always have a tough time with pink for some reason! Pink hues like to just sorta blend in with everything, until the whole piece is just.. different shades of pink? Might not make sense but a bit ago I painted Junius (Roman au) and everything was just.. pink. If you want you can scroll down a bit, it’s from February.

ANYWAY i fixed it for this painting in the end, green works wonders in defusing the overbearing warmth without making the entire thing look cold.

I wanted Jones and Hor to look like they’re actually in love and I think it turned out pretty nice! Friend mentioned the yaoi hands and.. yea, I’m cursed with not noticing when a body part is oddly large. (I used to have this a lot with heads)

I was rly not looking forward to doing that screen in the background, but ended up really enjoying it, I’m glad I put in at least a little effort in that department, the peacock was definitely needed 👌

Lastly, jones having a lil boob pudge is just, everything to me. It’s not very noticeable but man
