As if the lad knew exactly when Rick was at his lowest and unable to restrain his wants. Today was such a day. When all he could think of was him, how his scent lingered in his office- on his clothing.
He always told himself that this would be the last time.

Rick act cool challenge; extreme difficulty. That man is not ok and Jones isn’t helping.
My partner has written some amazing encounters between these two, some sfw some nsfw but all just… so good. Rick and Jones are kind of an unlikely pair, but they mash well together.
Im not great at explaining it but beyond being a brat, Jones gets Rick. He sees he’s living in a self destructive way just like himself. They absolutely do not try to help each other, but Rick can see Jones as an outlet for his frustrations. Frustration at both himself and at the fact that he’s queer! Apparently!
Rick has no clear view of what he wants, aside from Jones physically. He’s not exactly great at keeping a relationship, much less with another man.
But they still keep coming back to this.
Meanwhile Jones has a more straightforward use for Rick. (Rick is on the case of the murder of Flavio Benotti, thats Horatio’s younger brother as well as husband of now widowed Max) To keep it short, Jones doesn’t want him to find the culprit.
Im hoping to do more little encounters between these two and explain more about their dynamic in the future!!
This was super fun to paint, I had my ups and downs but all in all Im happy to be painting a bit again.
