The pillows dipped under his weight, slight as it was, and leaned against that mass of brawn. Before he knew it an arm had curled around him, locking him firmly in place. Quite warm. Comfortable even. He smelled like home.

everything about this painting is my favorite but especially (what i feel like) is the symbolism of the duck and the dog painting above them, the way theyre both sort of contorted. it gives me this certain kind of dread im VERY in love with!!
