I love vampire Jones because he absolutely does not care for human life. He’s so over it, after what Horatius and Rictus did to him; turning him and leaving him chained up in a dark cellar for centuries, submitted to drinking the blood of rats. He prayed to the lord of death to be taken, finally, but he was denied such satisfying freedom. Instead, this new lord made him into something greater, something distinctly unholy.
He escaped his shackles and set out on a path of destruction, thinking of nothing but revenge.
