Jones’ design in this is kinda the same that I use for him in the pirate au, where his arm (or in this case arms) is/are covered in burn scars. This was my first time trying to render scars with gouache but I think it turned out kinda nice !!!
The background for this had me question my life choices though, I rly didn’t enjoy it 💀 I think I’ll be going back to watercolor for a bit, also because that allows for a bit more of a gritty atmosphere!
I do like how the overal painting turned out though, and of course I hope you enjoy as well! 🌷💕
