Vrksasana---Tree Pose

Taking the time to ground/connect with nature.  

This is one of my favorite poses to teach and do practice because Tree pose has a few variations of the pose and you can get creative with it. To practice...it is fun because it really does promote balance.  Your ankles are creating a muscle memory when you alternate legs to balance with. 

Tree Pose:

*Is good for balancing those muscle memories on your feet/ankles

*Helps you to ground [if barefoot in nature---grass, rock, dirt,]

* Helps with alignment of posture

*Calms the mind and just be 

* Promotes concentration (while balancing)

*Strengthens your legs
