Winners: Caged Remix Competition

The winners have been chosen! Here are some words by Mr. Phace:
"First of all, thank you very much for taking part in this remix competition! I was really flashed that so many of you took part in this.
I uploaded all remix entries to one folder, and I took some time to collectively listen closely to all the remixes back and forth. It was a close call in the end, and I actually end up choosing two winners:
DNB RMX: ROLLMOPZ REMIX
ALTERNATIVE RMX: 10X REMIX
I found myself listening back to both of these most often; they just clicked with my brain.
Now, this does not mean I did not like all the other remixes. In the end, I simply have to choose a winner. So please do not feel down if your remix wasn't picked. It was a close rally; all tracks sounded creative and worked out with passion and their own vision. Please stay motivated and happy about what you do.

Dang, did my entry not make it into the folder somehow? Anywho, it was a lot of fun to work on and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to dissect the tune. Unfortunately ran out of time and didn't get to take it the route I would've liked but it was still fun regardless. Cheers to all the other entries as well. Y'all killed it π₯

The opportunity was one of the best learning experiences I have had with music production. For anyone that is learning the craft I have to recommend using any remix opportunity to help build your skills. Particularly if there is a deadline. Time management was something that was really hammered home for me. Many other things were gained in my understanding of making music, but time as a resource was number one. And that is another reason to be thankful to Phace. With 20 remixes reviewing the work would have been no small task. Not something one can do while having a single coffee. Giving time to someone's art in today's world with so many shiny things trying to grab your attention is a huge amount of respect. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to remix "Caged". I look forward to hearing what flavours others brought to the song. Thanks again.
