Producer | Tutorial : Mefjus (Concussion Remix)

Hello -Producing- Person,
We'll be honest; due to a hangover at team VISION, your October tutorial is a day late. But here it is!
To celebrate the release of another Resonance chapter, Martin Mefjus takes you through his remix of 'Concussion'. Which is ironic, seeing we're dealing with some headache ourselves at the moment.
There are much more Resonance remixes in the making. Who would you like to see on the remixers list?
Enjoy! 🤕
Tucking signs underneath like anything is perfect to fill out a sound. Rockers do it on bass and guitar for like ages.

I think in the end it just makes the sub act like a ghost kick. The transient he made has reverb on it and its not as steep and sharp as a kick transient so it just adds a percussive quality without piercing like a proper kick transient. Maybe I'm wrong too, but that's just my interpretation.

Maybe this is a too newbie question but can't help but notice how much transient the sub has when you showed it on solo and how well it impacts on the drop I am wondering how this interact with the kicks? I can't unhear them both separate (surely because I am not well experienced yet) isn't the kick sidechaining the sub?and if so why the sub needs that knock? is it cause not always the kick in playing when the sub hits? hope I made any sense with my question and thanks for the tutorial
