Hello ! I'm back with a tutorial for you !
I asked you if you were interested with the lip sync and many replied me for the idea, so I obliged and made one.
Lip sync is really current on the animation domain, it's always interesting to put some and understand how to process and create easy effects.
I made 2 examples.
There I put the main sounds, pronunciations with the mouth, each group with one color. There it's easier for you to see everything you can use, I though the colors would highline even more the effect of each syllabes.
The zone, this is what is mostly moving, with the skull you can see that only the lower part is moving in fact, but it can be a bit different for the lips. The upper lip can also move a bit but it's really subtile, the lower lip is moving the most and so all the lower part of the face.
The teeth also helps a lot for the pronunciation and illustration of what the character is saying (if your character have some ;>)
Pacing, when you do lip sync you don't need to draw that much frames and inbetween, generally you can use arround 2, 3 and 4 frames for each syllabes, (you can do more or less of course!) and all depend also of the pacing, there I used 20 FPS, if I used less I would put 1, 2 frames by syllabes, if more FPS, more frames !!
Well I hope everything there will help you! If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
