A new series??

OK maybe not my most practical suggestion but there is a massive sea cave called Fingal's Cave on the island of Staffa in the Scottish Hebrides. There's a path into it and it has great acoustics but you can only get there in good weather! I know there have been performances e.g. on the violin inside. If you are ever in the neighbouhood!

I’m not sure about what it would do to the acoustics, but I think the rumble from the Water Wall in Houston, TX would create an interesting background noise.

This is absolutely beautiful, and I am 150% in full support of a series like this. I’ve always been more into the acoustic side of music myself, and there really is nothing like letting your own voice and your surroundings, for lack of a better term, sing together. I’m not American so I don’t have much in the way of place suggestions, but apparently the big Mormon tabernacle in Salt Lake City has amazing acoustics. At the very least I’ve heard the story about my aunt stubbing her toe, dropping a soft F bomb, and having it ring out loudly across the entire building a thousand times.

If you're ever over in the UK (specifically London) see if you can get some time in St Pauls Cathedral. I got the chance to sing in a choir under the dome when I was at school once - in our rehearsal they got us to just start with one note and let it ring out and... we all immediately started laughing because it was just so overwhelming to a bunch of 12 year olds...

This is so cool and exciting! What a creative project. Are you going to do any meet and greets along the way, or let fans sit in on your performance? I only live a few hours away from Mammoth Cave and would totally make that trip. I also understand that more people could mean more background noise which could ruin the take.

Hi Malinda! I've got a suggestion for a place to sing! I don't know if you've ever been in a sports stadium when it's empty and there's not a game going on, but the echoes in there can be something else. Whether it's open or closed, field or foyer, stands or sandbox, major or minor, that could be something.
