Autocaptions with Andrew Huang!

My amazing patrons,

This was my first time experimenting not only with auto-captions, but with a new way of allowing people too experience “technology parodies.” I’m hoping to do more work with auto-captions, but also to actually break down how the technology creates what we are hearing.

And to get to do this with Andrew was just the greatest thing ever. Both of us took risks with our respective collabs, and that is one of the best reasons to collaborate- helping fellow creators expand who they are and what they want to do!

Let me know what you think of this. Is it clear? Does it work having a song you may or may not have heard and then hearing it in a different way? Would love some feedback on this!!

Thank you all SO much for helping to make this video possible. I definitely would not have been able to make such awesome collabs happen without you. So thank you thank you!!

Peace,
xxMKR

Also, when I was at the Royal Institute of Technology 10 years ago (Time flies ) Misheard lyrics was a thing, Finnish people trying to sing in English, https://youtu.be/Qs7bptn1tqM

This summer I found out Auto-caption is only available in English. When I uploaded a video partially in Swedish the auto-caption became like an GTS https://ibb.co/jogiYw

All hail Malinda! :-) I agree with Jazz about collaboration with other people originals. Maybe even consider invite youtubers that are not associate with singing and music as another branch of your channel? Just a thought :-).

This is great! I love playing with auto captions, especially on my videos. I do a lot of backwards videos and I like to see what YouTube thinks the backwards speaking people are really saying. Oftentimes, it thinks they're speaking Russian. Here's an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LliAjC2HqPk. You can auto translate it to English if you want a few laughs.

This reminds me of the voicemail transcriptions my provider texts to me. Sometimes they are nowhere close to what was actually said.

Collabs where you invade other people's originals and "GTS them" whether using GT or YT autocaptions, seems like something new you could branch into :D

Invisible Jazz

Love the format of alternating correct and translated lyrics! It really highlights the impact of translating. Wish you could do more of those. <3

He's great! You're great together. This was hilarious. And obviously he was just hangry. I just used hangry. I should go. :)
